GRNO's goal is to apply its state of the art technology to become the single best option for reclaiming oil to pipeline specification from waste oil products. The Company can process the waste products at one of their facilities or at a customer's site via its portable processing technology.
Current Market Highlights
- In Alberta alone, over $171 billion of oil sands, oil/gas and other projects are either in development stages or currently under construction
- Global market for cleaning and reuse of produced water is over $50 Billion annually
- Alberta oils sands market, for cleaning and disposal of contaminated water in access of $100 Million annually
- The North American market for cleaning and reuse of contaminated solids from heavy oil exploration and development is in excess of $100 Billion
One of the ever-present waste streams in the oil and gas industry which creates problems for most companies is Slop Oil.
Slop oil or secondary oil is found in evaporation ponds, sludge pits, storage tanks, and permitted commercial disposal facilities. Slop oil is not environmentally friendly! Current options for disposal are expensive and hard to find. This leads to slop oils being stored in pits or tanks or wherever possible until a better solution presents itself.
Treatment and remediation of waste oil or slop oil is a multi-billion dollar a year industry.
First Acquisition - Custom Carbon Processing Inc.
GRNO strives to seek out and acquire companies that are forward thinking, bear significant technological advancement, and have a global market, all while being socially- and environmentally responsible. The Company's first acquisition is Custom Carbon Processing (CCP), a Wyoming based company that specialized in Slop Oil recycling.
By using CCP's technology, the Company can efficiently treat slop oils by knocking out the solids and separating the oil from the waste water. The process is a safe, environmentally sustainable, and eco-friendly. The waste water resulting from processing meets or exceeds the criteria for final discharge into any industrial water treatment system. Alternatively, it has the option of discharging into a disposal/injection well or evaporation pond. The solids can be recycled and used for various applications. These include asphalt, road building, or reclamation by way of land farming.
Although the processing of slop oil is not new, CCP's technology allows for large amounts of stored material to be processed efficiently. The system is safe and meets the criteria of occupational health, safety, environmental, and government agencies.
GRNO's technology is timely, given the environmentally sensitive market as well as the cost implications of the disposal of residual oil production and hydrocarbon waste.
Keep a close watch on GRNO. It's addressing the ever growing problem of waste oil products that our world is facing today. Its technology is eco-friendly and efficient. The Company's rapid growth strategy via acquisitions of established remediation companies to position itself as a major player in the multi-billion dollars waste oil recycling industry could yield significant returns for its shareholders.
